Kenneth Odell Taylor, age 91, of Coxs Creek, a native of LaRue County, passed away Saturday, January 13, 2024, at Baptist Health Hardin in Elizabethtown.
He was a member of Hodgenville Christian Church and a retired carpenter.
Kenneth was preceded in death by his wife, Rose Leffel Taylor; his parents, Alexander and Margaree DeSpain Taylor; two sisters, Alice Joyce Wallace and Wilma Jeffers and two brothers, Joe and Jim Taylor.
He is survived by his companion, Hilda Gaddie; a son, Bob (Jeanette) Brinley of Fisherville; a daughter, Maryrose Nieves of Florida; a brother, Donald Lee Taylor of Dallas, TX; two sisters, Mary Self of Hodgenville and Norma Jean (Chuck) Snyder of Florida; three grandchildren, Mitch Ricketts, Ruben Nieves and Caleb Brinley; a great-grandson, K.C. Ricketts; a great-great-grandson, Rowan Ricketts; a step-granddaughter, Janie Powell and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 12 noon, Wednesday, January 17, at Bennett-Bertram Funeral Home in Hodgenville with Bro. Chuck Snyder officiating. Burial will follow in St. Joachim Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m., Tuesday and after 9 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
