Kathleen Dye Chelf, age 91, of Magnolia, passed away, Thursday, June 5, 2025, at her residence.
She was a 1951 graduate of Magnolia High School class, the oldest living member of Pikeview Baptist Church, enjoyed traveling and collecting pieces of cactus along the way, quilting, making dolls and raising flowers. More than anything she loved her family, friends and Jesus.
Kathleen was preceded in death by her husband, Woodrow Chelf; her parents, Byron and Lillian Talley Dye; two sisters, Francise Close and Anna Mae Miller: a brother, Colon Dye and an infant brother, Lowell Dye.
She is survived by three daughters, Julie (Mark) Burba and Karen Chelf, both of Magnolia and Holly (Jeff) Lindquist of Redwood City, California; two sons, Tim (Marla) Chelf and Frank Chelf, both of Glasgow; seven grandchildren, Mike (Amy) Gowen, Kristi (Chad) Riggs, Tyler (Lindsay) Chelf, Eddy (Megan) Downs, Bryan (Lauren) Downs, Tom Lindquist and Annika Lindquist; 10 great grandchildren as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Funeral services will be at held 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 11, at Dixon-Rogers Funeral Home in Magnolia with Bro. Gary Talley and Bro. Phil Buckner officiating. Burial will follow alongside her husband in Pikeview Cemetery.
Visitation will be held 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday and after 9 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
