Kathleen Baumgardner, age 83, of Hodgenville, passed away, Wednesday, April 10, 2024, at Baptist Health Hardin in Elizabethtown.
She grew up in Lowell Indiana and was a member of Buffalo Baptist Church, retired ward clerk for Hardin Memorial Hospital ER. Kathleen enjoyed crocheting and giving her crafts away, she loved spending time with her grandkids.
Kathleen was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Baumgardner; her parents, Thomas and Dorothy Bradford Cotter and a brother, James Cotter.
She is survived by two daughters, Tracie (Dale) Davis of Hodgenville and Kelly (Reese) Byrd of Vidor, Texas; a son, Shane (Edith) Baumgardner of Abilene, Texas; eleven grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren and a sister, Judy Ayer of Carmel, Indiana.
Funeral services will be held at 4:30 p.m. Sunday, April 14, 2024, at Bennett-Bertram Funeral Home in Hodgenville with Bro. DeWayne Gibson officiating. Burial will follow in Buffalo Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Saturday and after 12 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
