Julia Bibb Pottinger, age 67, of Magnolia, passed away Sunday, August 31, 2025, at Baptist Health Hardin in Elizabethtown.
She loved baking and helping her brother paint houses.
Julia was preceded in death by her parents, Carl and Jessie Perkins Bibb.
She is survived by her husband, Randy Pottinger; a son, Mason Pottinger of Magnolia; a sister, Alana Cohen of Louisville; a brother, Danny Bibb of Hudgins and a half sister, Carla (Kevin) Hicks of Louisville and several nieces and nephews.
Julia donated her body to University of Louisville as she wished to help further arthritis research.
Memorial services will be held at 4 p.m. (ET) Saturday, October 18, at Dixon-Rogers Funeral Home in Magnolia with Bros. Gary Milby and Barry Locke officiating.
Visitation begins at 1 p.m. (ET) Saturday, at the funeral home.
