Johnnie Smith Keith, age 69, of Elizabethtown, passed away, Friday, September 10, 2021, at Baptist Health Hardin in Elizabethtown.
He was a member of Victory Baptist Church; retired bricklayer and worked at Wal-Mart for several years. Johnnie was a former member of Hodgenville Fire Department and the LaRue County Fair Board and volunteered for the LaRue County Boy Scouts and Bobby Morrison’s Santa Project (the Santa Claus Bus).
Johnnie was preceded in death by his parents, Mary E. Smith Keith and Walter Burton Keith, Jr.
He is survived by his wife, Marilyn Keith; two daughters, Tania (Matthew) McCullough of Brandenburg and Tammy (Kevin) Griffith of Elizabethtown; two sisters, Gloria Bell of Hodgenville and Carolyn (Larry) Brown of Louisville; five grandchildren, Alexandria (Ethan) Hutchinson, Kyler (Emily) Griffith, Kaitlin McCullough, Lindsey McCullough and Abigail McCullough and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 2 PM, Monday, September 20, 2021, at Bennett-Bertram Funeral Home in Hodgenville with Bro. James Crim officiating. Burial will follow in the Victory Baptist Church Cemetery.
Visitation will begin after 10 AM, Monday at the funeral home.
