Linda Darlene Shepard Castleman, age 68 of Elizabethtown, passed away, August 18, 2021, at her home.
John Wayne Castleman, age 68, passed away, September 10, 2021, at Baptist Health Hardin.
They were the owner and operators of Castleman Plumbing for many years.
Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Betty Shepard and a sister, Gail Tucker; John was preceded in death by his parents, Wayne “Boss” and Florine Castleman and a sister, Anna Myers.
Linda is survived by her daughter, Tonya (Chris) Jacobs; a son, Jeremy (Jamie) Vertrees and a brother, Robert Shepard; John is survived by two daughters, Courtney (Shannon) Blanton and Carrie (Zach) Castleman; two sons, Jonathan Castleman and Jeffrey (Mikal) Castleman; a sister, Jane (Joe) McCoy and a brother, Don Castleman. They had 18 grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Joint memorial services will be held at 1 PM, Friday, September 24, 2021, at Bennett-Bertram Funeral Home in Hodgenville, with burial of their ashes to follow in North Hardin Memorial Gardens.
Visitation begins after 10 AM, Friday at the funeral home.
