John Patrick "Pat" Staples

John Patrick “Pat” Staples, age 64 years, of Magnolia, passed away, Wednesday, July 8, 2020 at his residence.

He was a construction worker, lifetime farmer, of the Catholic faith and a “Jack of all Trades”.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas Warren and Anna Bernice Hardesty Staples; a sister, Charlotte Kaehler and a brother, Tommy Staples.

He is survived by a daughter, Angie (Thomas Stokes) Huffman of Shepherdsville; a son, John Warren (Margie) Staples of LaGrange; a sister, Paula Sue (Alan) Huddleston of Georgetown, Indiana; a brother, Gene (Townya) Staples of Magnolia; the mother of his children, Kathy Staples of Shepherdsville and six grandchildren, Nolan Major, Josh Harp, Madi Hughes, Hannah Huffman, Aiden Huffman and Miley Staples.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday, July 11, 2020 at Dixon-Rogers Funeral Home in Magnolia with Bro. Ricky Hines officiating.  Cremation will follow.

Visitation will begin at 12 noon Saturday at the funeral home until time for services.
