Joanne Meredith Obituary

Joanne Meredith, age 78 years, of Hodgenville, passed away, Sunday, June 21, 2020 at the Elizabethtown Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

She was a retired teacher, having taught for 34 years at Buffalo Elementary and LaRue County Middle School. She loved her students, as if they were her own children; as well as, her own family and her animals.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Rance Lee Meredith, Sr. and Maudie Agnes Edlin Meredith and two brothers, Rance Lee Meredith, Jr. and Lonnie Owen Meredith.

She is survived by a sister-in-law, Brenda Meredith of Hodgenville and five nieces, Brandi (Mike) Jackson, Charlotte (Junior) Bingham, Shelia (Donald) Pawley, Sherry Marcum and Susie (Brad) Evans.

Graveside services will be held at 3:00 PM Tuesday, June 23, 2020 on her beloved hill at the Meredith Family Cemetery with Bro. Carlie Riggs officiating.
