Jeanine Mae Creason

Jeanine Mae Carter Creason, age 74, of Hodgenville, passed away, Sunday, October 8, 2023, at Baptist Health Hardin in Elizabethtown.

She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and caretaker to everyone.

Jeanine is preceded in death by her husband, Alton Creason; a son, Richard “Richie” Creason; her parents, Richard Ervin and Fern Will Carter; a sister, Jeanette Carter-Dabbs and a brother Richard Ervin Carter II

She is survived by a daughter, Rebecca (Tim) Mathers of Cecilia; four granddaughters, Emily Sprowls, Katie Sprowls, Kelsie Creason and Grace Vance; a grandson, Nick Mathers; a great-granddaughter, Macie Mathers; four great-grandsons, Clay Beauchamp, Cayson Hare, Carter Hare and Cohen Hare.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, October 11, 2023, at Bennett-Bertram Funeral Home in Hodgenville with Bro. David Fortner officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Tabor Church Cemetery.

Visitation will be 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday and continue after 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home.
