Jason England

Jason Wayne England, age 39, of Hodgenville, passed away Tuesday, April 26, 2022, at Baptist Health Hardin in Elizabethtown.

He was always just a phone call away and would be there to help you in your time of need! He was usually quiet, he let his presence be known only when it was needed. We all loved to hear him sing karaoke with that gravelly country twang! And, of course, if you knew him you would know that he could cook…. I mean really COOK!! Just on random days he would call and say, I’ve made chicken and dumplings, or meatloaf, or chicken wings, or fish tacos, or whatever…. Come on over and eat! He always loved to feed the masses!! If you knew Jason then you know him to be a very loyal friend, he was always there to help out a friend or sibling with his handy work, or to help fix your car!

Jason was preceded in death by his father, Jerry Wayne England and his step-fathers, Harvey Willian and Melvin Bell.

He leaves behind his mother, Sandy Bell, five children; Kayli, Shelbi, Jaeden, Kadance and Braxton; his fiancé Kaila Tenney and his unborn son that is due in 4 months; eleven siblings, Melissa England (Finis Durrett) Tharp, Trish England, Heather England, Brience (Alisha) Willian, Kyle (Brandon) Willian, LeeAnn Willian (Andrew) Cooper, Emma (Tyler Brownfield) Bell, Nathan (Meredith) Bell, Jerry (Susan) Bell, David Bell, and Lisa (Brian Green) Reidner and a special family friend, Jerry Taylor.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Bennett-Bertram Funeral Home in Hodgenville with Bro. DeWayne Gibson officiating. Burial will follow in Old Sherman Cemetery in Mt. Sherman.

Visitation will be from 1 to 8 p.m. Thursday and after 9 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the family and may be made at the funeral home.
