Jane Hartley Crawford-Smith

Jane Hartley Crawford-Smith, passed away, Monday, March 30, 2026, at her residence in Chiefland, Florida.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ben Crawford; her parents, Homer and Betty Salisbury Hartley; two grandchildren, Joshua Meyer and Christina Meyer; two brothers, Gary Hartley and Roger Hartley and a sister, Barbara Hartley.

Jane is survived by her husband, Jack Smith; two sons, Ralph Meyer and Ron Meyer Jr.; two step sons, Lucas Smith and Aaron Smith; nine grandchildren, eighteen great grandchildren; a brother, Craig Hartley and a half-sister, Rebecca Kardas.

Jane will be buried in Elizabethtown City Cemetery.

A memorial service will be held by the family, 1 p.m. Saturday, April 18, at Valley Creek Baptist Church.
