James Robert “Bob” Brown, age 82, of Buffalo, passed away, Wednesday, September 11, 2024, at Baptist Health Hardin in Elizabethtown.
He was a retired autobody repairman, loved fishing and loved playing Yahtzee.
Bob was preceded in death by his daughter, Sherry Lynn Brown; his parents, Trimble and Geneva Cheatham Brown; a sister, Carol Ann Taylor and two brothers, Jerry Brown and Harold Brown.
He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Edith McCorkle Brown; two sisters, Barbara Tucker of Shepherdsville and Reta Jewel of Hodgenville; a brother, Donnie Brown of Illinois; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, September 14, at Bennett-Bertram Funeral Home in Hodgenville with Bro. David Fortner officiating. Burial will follow in Pearl Webb Cemetery in Canmer.
Visitation will be held 4 P.M. to 8 P.M. Friday, and after 9 A.M. Saturday at the funeral home.
