James F. Martin Jr., age 61, of Hodgenville, passed away, Thursday, May 1, 2025, at his residence.
He was a retired maintenance technician from Publishers Printing after 30 plus years of service, a member of Salem Christian Church, member of the National Rifle Association, an avid deer hunter, LaRue County Highschool graduate and a loving son, brother and uncle.
James was preceded in death by his parents, James F. and Mable Jackson Martin Sr.; a brother, Garland Wallace Sr. and a sister, Martha J. Richardson.
He is survived by a niece, Tamara (Mark) Wallace-Hasty of Hodgenville; a nephew, Larry Wayne (Maegan) Devers of Hodgenville; a great-niece, Brystal J. (Daniel) Dennis of Radcliffe and a great-great-niece, Charlotte Marie J. Stephenson.
The family will conduct a graveside memorial service at 11 a.m., Saturday, July 26, at Salem Christian Church Cemetery with Bro. Sid Lewis officiating.
