James Shelton Obituary

James Shelton, age 76, passed away Thursday, January 6, 2022, at Baptist Health Hardin in Elizabethtown.

He was a good husband, loved spending time with his family and was a “Pappaw” to many kids.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Harvey and Alta Lee Shelton and a brother, Chalin Shelton.

James is survived by his wife, Kathleen Fish Shelton; two stepdaughters; Regina Greenfield of Louisville and Barbara Blair of Tampa, FL; two stepsons, Randy Greenfield of Louisville and Albert Greenfield of Elkton; a sister, Margaret West; a brother, William Shelton; two step-grandchildren, Gary Michael Greenfield and William Curtis Greenfield; five step great-grandchildren and special friends, Lenny and Joyce Gardner.

A private service was held Monday, January 10 at Bennett-Bertram Funeral Home with Bro. Sid Lewis officiating.

Burial will be at a later date at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery-Central in Radcliff.
