Irene “Boochie” Mauldin, age 85, of Hodgenville, passed away, Thursday, October 5, 2023, at Baptist Health Hardin in Elizabethtown.
She enjoyed fishing and being outdoors, but most of all she loved her Grandbabies.
Irene was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph “Joe” Henry Mauldin; her parents, Louis and Jessie Murphy Gray; five sisters, Sissy Fry, Leona Morgan, Delores Jean Mauldin, Lorene Mink, Susie Gardner; three brothers, Donnie Gray, Buck Gray, Gilbert Gray and a son, Dewey Cundiff.
She is survived by two daughters, Delores Viers of Versailles and Nancy (Glen) Mattingly of Rineyville; three sisters, Joyce (Dale) Bales and Wanda (Ronnie) Ramsey, all of Hodgenville and Kathleen Edlin of Elizabethtown; six grandchildren, Amy Viers, Kimberly Viers, Heather Keen, Ashley Brown, Brittany Albrecht, Chastity Milby; eight great grandchildren, Steven Keen, Chelsea Viers, Easton Milby, Lily Viers, Bubbie Palmer, Gabbie Milby, Carly Viers, Rolan Albrecht and two twins on the way, Willow and Ellie.
Funeral services will be held at 1 pm. Tuesday, October 10 at Bennett-Bertram Funeral Home in Hodgenville with Bro. Billy Curle officiating. Burial will follow in Friendship #2 Baptist Church Cemetery.
Visitation will be held 4 to 8 pm. Monday, and after 10 am. Tuesday at the funeral home.
