Helen Ann Minton, age 81, of Magnolia, passed away, Tuesday, September 26, 2023, at her daughter’s residence.
She made a profession of faith in Jesus Christ, was a member of Allendale Baptist Church and a caregiver.
Helen was preceded in death by her husband, Owen T. Minton; two children, Debra Lee Minton and Douglas Albert Minton; her parents, Charles and Thelma Ford Bright and four siblings, James Edward Bright, Alene Kaye Vinsand, Irene Fay Lanley and Marcella Laverne Buckles.
She is survived by five children, Burton Timothy “Timmy” (Jane) Minton of Bonnieville, Thomas Edward “Tommy” (Rosie) Minton of Cub Run, Donald Ray “Donnie” (Tiffany) Minton, Rhonda Kaye (David) Vaughn and Elizabeth “Liz” Ann (Jesse) Sisney, all of Magnolia; eight grandchildren, Brian (Megan) Minton, Mari Beth Minton, Bethany (Brian) Milella, Autumn Minton, William (Belle) Vaughn, Skyler Vaughn, Benjamin Vaughn and Elisha Sisney; nine great-grandchildren, Justin Minton, Kali Minton, Chase Minton, Christian Wise, Liam Wise, Briley Milella, Alonna Minton, Barrett Milella and Colter Vaughn; a great-great-granddaughter, Soren Minton; a daughter-in-law, Melissia Minton and six nieces and nephews, Robert (Kim) Vinsand, Mona Vinsand, Cassie Lyons, Dennis (Crystal) Farmer, Jr., Marilyn (Greg) Cofer and Kenny Cobb.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, September 29, at Dixon-Rogers Funeral Home in Magnolia with Bro. Doug Sanders, Bro. David Vaughn and Bro. Justin Dial officiating. Burial will follow in the Friendship # 1 Baptist Church Cemetery in Jonesville.
Visitation will be 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday and continue after 9 a.m. Friday at
