Gobel Turner Goldsmith, age 88, of Buffalo, a native of Hart county, passed away, Thursday, November 28, 2019, at Hardin Memorial Hospital in Elizabethtown.
He was a farmer.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Lucille Goldsmith and a daughter, Cassie Dye.
He is survived by two daughters, Dianne (Gene) Willis and Freda Goldsmith all of Hodgenville; two sons, Marvin Goldsmith of Hodgenville and Rodney Goldsmith of Edmonton; a son-in-law, James Dye of Hodgenville; two brothers, Kenneth Goldsmith and Danny Goldsmith both of Louisville; twelve grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 PM, (EDT), Sunday, December 1, at Dixon-Rogers Funeral Home in Magnolia with Bro. Sid Lewis officiating. Burial will follow in the Concord Cemetery near Bonnieville.
Visitation will be from 1 to 8 PM, Saturday and after 10 AM, Sunday at the funeral home.
