Gloria Rock

Gloria Rock, age 92, passed away, Wednesday, January 14, 2026, at Robin Brooke Senior Living in Elizabethtown. 

She volunteered at Sunrise Manor Nursing Home for 10 years, was a seamstress and supervisor at Nationwide Uniform for 10 years, a “Birthday Girl” at Robin Brooke Senior Living where she brought joy to residents, a proud farmers wife and enjoyed quilting, shopping and traveling.

Gloria was preceded in death by her husband, Norman G. Rock; a son, Ronald “Gene” Rock; a grandson, Michael Rock; her parents, Verner and Marie Jaggers Loyall and a brother, Ronnie J. Loyall.

She is survived by a daughter, Sharon “Renee” McCoy of Buffalo; a son, Richard “Ricky” (Jill) Rock of Hodgenville; ten grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren and a nephew, Robbie Loyall. 

Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Sunday, January 18, at Bennett-Bertram Funeral Home in Hodgenville with Bro. Bruce Underhill officiating with burial to follow in Barren Run Cemetery.

Visitation will be held 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday and after 12 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
