Glenn Burdell Shaffer Jr.

Glenn Burdell Shaffer Jr., age 80, of Magnolia, passed away, Sunday, November 10, 2024, at Baptist Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky.

He was a member of Linwood Baptist Church, a former member of Hart County Fire Department & Lion’s Club, an avid boater and traveled the world and enjoyed playing bridge.  

Glenn was preceded in death his first wife, Brenda Shaffer, son, Glenn Shaffer III; parents, Glenn Burdell and Crystal Roe Shaffer Sr., and two sisters, Sherralynn Walker and Barbara Sweet.

He is survived his wife, Patricia Dean Cook Shaffer, a daughter, Donna Shaffer of Illinois, a son, Roger (Lisa) Shaffer of Illinois; a daughter-in-law, Cecilia Shaffer; two grandchildren Kelli (Brian) Aho and Anderson Shaffer; a brother, Greg Walker of Wisconsin and a sister, Rinde Walker of Michigan.

Glenn was cremated. No services are planned at this time.
