Gary Thomas Skaggs, age 78, of Hodgenville, passed away, Saturday, February 24, 2024, at Baptist Health Hardin.
He was an Air Force Veteran, attended True Way Ministry in Mt. Sherman and loved to travel.
Gary was preceded in death by his parents, Charlie and Lilly Jane Farmer Skaggs; a brother, Dennis Skaggs and an infant sister.
He is survived by his wife, Sharon Thompson Skaggs; a daughter, Patricia (Tommy) House of Bardstown; two grandchildren, Alex House and Bailey Dobson; a great-grandson, Ryker Dobson; a sister, Annette (Robert) Adams of Mt. Sherman and a sister -in-law Sandra Skaggs of Louisville.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Thursday, February 29, at Dixon-Rogers Funeral Home in Magnolia with Bro. Tommy House officiating. Burial with Military Honors will follow at 2 :30 p.m. in the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Central in Radcliff.
Visitation will be 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday and continue after 9 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
