Frankie Weller

Frankie Weller, age 83, of Magnolia, passed away, Thursday, October 9, 2025, at Sunrise Manor Nursing Home in Hodgenville.

He was a founding member of the LaRue County Church of Christ, was active in many agricultural and civic organizations, enjoyed horseback riding and was an avid University of Kentucky basketball fan. As all who knew him would say, he never met a stranger.

Frankie was preceded in death by his mother, Annie B. Handy Weller Morgan; his father, Roscoe Weller and his brother, Billie Weller.

He is survived by his wife, Marcie Weller; two daughters, April (Mark) Weller-Cantrell and Allie Weller; a stepdaughter, Mellissa Bowen; three stepsons, Timmy DeSpain, Darryl DeSpain, Curtis DeSpain; 15 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.  

Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. ET Monday, October 13, at Dixon-Rogers Funeral Home in Magnolia with Bro. Todd Lockett and Bro. Shannon McCubbins officiating. Burial will follow in Pearl Webb Cemetery in Canmer.  

Visitation will be held 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. ET Sunday and after 10 a.m. Monday at the funeral home.
