Foster Ray Edwards
07/08/1955 - 05/21/2026
Foster Ray Edwards was born Friday, July 8th, 1955 and went home peacefully to our lord on Thursday, May 21st, 2026 with loved ones at his side. He was born to Raymond Winfield Edwards and Alice Marie Wise, at Mary Immaculate Hospital in Marion County, KY. Foster grew up in and spent the majority of his life in and around the LaRue County area. He always loved to work on vehicles and was an all around handyman to many of the farmers and tradesmen in the area.
As a young man, Foster loved riding motorcycles and horses. He always enjoyed going to stock car races, watching good movies and listening to music. Most of all, he loved his children and grandbabies. He always called himself a “proud pap”.
Foster is preceded in death by both of his parents, and a brother, Cecil Morris Dobson.
He is survived by three children: Larry Edwards (Brittany), of Horse Cave, KY; Katelyn Creason (Freddie), of Hodgenville, KY; Katrina Harmon (Michael), of Mt. Sherman, KY; three brothers: Joe Taylor (Dava) of Buffalo, KY; Jimmy Butler (Lori) of Edmonton, KY; William Marcum (Lisa) of Radcliff, KY; 3 sisters: Jane Pettit (Greg) of Summersville, KY; Betty Cohran of Hodgenville, KY; Cathy Allen (Larry) of Hillview, KY; and 4 grandkids: Joseph and Bailey Edwards, and Emily and Hailey Harmon.
A private ceremony will be held for the immediate family only, with cremation to follow.
