Eva W. Locke, age 75, of Boston, passed away Thursday, November 4, 2021, at her residence.
She was a member of Middle Creek Baptist Church, retired custodian for Grayson County Middle School and enjoyed volunteering for the WJCR Food Ministry.
Eva was preceded in death by her husbands, Wayne Higson and Glen McKee; her parents, Charlie and Ada Mae Hayse Williams and a brother, Johnny Williams.
She is survived by two daughters, Charlotte (Mitchell) Grimes of Hodgenville and Shelia (Mike) Embry of Boston; a son, Jesse Locke of Hodgenville; a step-daughter, Ann Locke of Boston; nine grandchildren, Tiffany (Derrick) Hill of Hodgenville, Carrie (Sam) Clark of Mt. Sherman, Courtney and Chloe Embry, both of Boston and John, Harlee, Kristina, Abegale and Winston Grimes, all of Hodgenville; eight great-grandchildren, Gibson and Brier Underwood, Ben and Chase Hill, Noah and Hunter Clark, Aria Dougherty and Keaton Apted and seven sisters, Verna Haycraft, Mary Alvey, Reah Armes and Carrie Wholard, all of Clarkson, Faye Colemore of Leitchfield, Betty Cane of Edmonson County and Margie Evans of Tennessee.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. (ET), Monday, November 8, 2021 at Bennett-Bertram Funeral Home in Hodgenville with Bro. Gary Hendrickson officiating. Burial will follow in St. Benedict Catholic Church Cemetery in Wax.
Visitation begins after 11 a.m. (ET) Monday at the funeral home.
