Ethan Chad Knox, a brilliant 14 year old from Hodgenville, ascended to eternal rest on February 6, 2025, at his residence, leaving behind a legacy of love, hope and inspiration.
Ethan’s passion for hunting and the outdoors was only matched by his love for life, his dedication to hard work and his desire to make a positive difference in the world. His heart was pure, his spirit was bright and his smile could light up the darkest of rooms, inspiring all who knew him to strive for greatness.
He was preceded in death by his father, Chad Knox; his grandfather, Sonny Knox and his grandmother, Dorothy Brown, who welcomed him into eternal peace.
Ethan is survived by his parents, Jennifer Ann Brown and James Everett Brown; two sisters, Mckenzie Nicole Brown and Madison Paige Knox all of Hodgenville, who will continue to celebrate his life and cherish his memory. His grandparents, Bruce (Patty) Knox, Diane (Jonathan Wright) Knox, Wilma (Tommy) Allen, Tommy Brown, and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends who will deeply miss him but find strength in the impact he had on their lives.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, February 11, at Bennett-Bertram Funeral Home in Hodgenville with Bro. Billy Curle officiating. Burial will follow in Middle Creek Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday and after 9 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Ethans pallbearers will be James Brown, Steve Casteel, Ayden Thompson, Ben Castile, Maddox Castile, Aiden Mauldin and Landon Cone.
