Emma Caroline Gerrity, age 84, of Hodgenville, passed away, Sunday, September 1, 2024, at Sunrise Manor Nursing Home.
She was a homemaker and loved to play bingo and dance at the American Legion and Senior Citizen Center.
Emma was preceded in death by a son, Jerry Cheshire; her parents, John Parker and Francis Ann Harbson Hutchison; a granddaughter, Becky Brown; two brothers, John Parker and Robert Hutchison.
She is survived by a daughter, Glenda (Michael) Bennett of Mt. Sherman; four sons, Mickey (Debbie) Cheshire of Buffalo, Phillip Cheshire of Hodgenville, Alan (Benita) Cheshire of Magnolia and Terry (Sharon) Gibson of Hodgenville. 11grandchildren, Curtis (Angie) Bennett, Sarah (Matt) Rucker, Megan (BJ) Glass, Eric Cheshire, Whitney Cheshire, Butch (Katie) Brown, Kathleen (Richard) Frye, Sylvia (Bill) Pelc, Hannah (Kyle) Heibert, Cody (Casey) Cheshire and Ashley (Nick) Childress; 23 great-grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be 11 a.m. Thursday, September 5, at Bennett-Bertram funeral Home in Hodgenville, Bro. DeWayne Gibson officiating. Burial will follow in St. Vincent de Paul Cemetery in New Hope.
Visitation will be 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday and after 9 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
