Elsie (Lafollette) Cundiff

Elsie Lavena Lafollette Cundiff, age 85, of Hodgenville, passed away Tuesday, September 28, 2021, at her residence.

She was a member of Union Christian Church.  A lifelong farmer, loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend, she loved the Lord, her family and her garden.

Elsie was preceded in death by her husband, William Cundiff; a daughter, Mary Lynn Cundiff and her siblings, Betty Jean Strader, Arvin Lafollette, Jr., Edith Francis Lafollette, Donnie Lafollette, Juanita Faye Lafollette, Larry Lafollette, Gary Lafollette, Phillip Lafollette, Glenn Lafollette and Connie Carter.

She is survived by two children, Grant (Vickie) Cundiff and Sherry Cundiff, all of Hodgenville; three siblings, Alberta Thompson, Floyd (Janice) Lafollette and Roger (Carolyn) Lafollette, all of Hodgenville; four grandchildren, Ben (Jamie) Cundiff, Chad Cundiff, April (Eric) Coffey and Dylan (Emily) Cundiff; five great-grandchildren, Coltyn, Madison, Wyatt, Lexi and Elijah Cundiff and several nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly.

Funeral services will be held at 11 AM, Friday, October 1, 2021, at Union Christian Church with Bros. Steve Campbell and Tim Dennis officiating.  burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 PM, Thursday at Bennett-Bertram Funeral Home in Hodgenville and after 10 AM, Friday at the church.
