Edward "Drew" Handley

Edward “Drew” Handley, age 56, of Hodgenville, passed away, Friday, April 4, 2025, at Kindred Hospital in Louisville.  

He was a Louisville Cardinal and Dallas Cowboys fan. Most of all he was a loving father.

Drew was preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Anna Dorsey Handley; a sister, Anna Katherin “Kat” Handley; a brother, Ray Allen Handley and a niece, Wendy Rhodes.

He is survived by his wife, Tammy Handley, of Tell City, IN; three daughters, Nicole Handley of Magnolia, Bryla Hilkey and Emilee Way both of Tell City; five sons, Tyler Handley and Dante Handley both of Magnolia, Kameron Jackson, Levi Way and Matthew Way all of Tell City; a grandson, Deandre Dennis; his aunt, Joyce Handley; a niece, Alexis Dorsey; a nephew, Timmy Handley; a special cousin, Ann Dorsey; three special friends, Tony Phillips, Greg Cobb and Anissa Myers.

Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Wednesday, April 9, at Bennett-Bertram Funeral Home in Hodgenville with Bro. Charlie Meeks officiating. Burial will follow in Hubbard Cemetery.

Visitation will be 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday and after 10 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Drew’s Pallbearers will include, Dennis Lackey, Jarrell Garrett, Kerwin Weathers, Wayne Handley, Terry Hill, Stevie Phillips and J.T. Hilkey.
