Edna Devore Obituary

Edna Laverne McCorkle Devore, age 97, passed away, Wednesday, September 30, 2020, at Russell County Hospital in Russell Spring.

She was the oldest member of Ovesen Heights Baptist Church and a homemaker.

Edna was preceded in death by her husband, Glendon Devore in 2013; a son Bennie Devore and several brothers and sisters.

She is survived by a daughter, Sharon (Chuck) Witten of Glendale; a son, Jerry (Jackie) Devore of Russell Springs; a sister, Flossie Fogle of Louisville; three grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

Graveside services will be held 1 PM Friday, Oct 2, at Red Hill Cemetery in Hodgenville, Rev. Gerald Murphy officiating.

A walk thru visitation will begin after 9 AM Friday at Bennett-Bertram Funeral Home in Hodgenville.
