Douglas “Pete” DeSpain, age 90, of Magnolia, passed away, Wednesday, September 25, 2024, at Sunrise Manor Nursing Home in Hodgenville.
Pete was a retired tenant farmer.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary DeSpain and his parents, Ernest and Anna B. DeSpain.
Pete is survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Pete was cremated and the family will have a meal at Mt. Zion Separate Baptist Church near Magnolia at 12 noon (ET), Sunday, October 13, followed by a celebration of life service.
Dixon-Rogers Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
