Dorothy Lee Wheeler, age 84, of Hodgenville, passed away, Saturday, October 2, 2021, at her residence.
She retired from Sunrise Manor Nursing Home in Hodgenville and formerly owned and operated Town and Country Restaurant near Lincoln Farm and Tanner Grocery in the Tanner Community.
Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Thomas “C.T.” Wheeler; her parents, Earl and Mary Jane Thompson Wathen; two sisters, Helen McGuffey and Allene Elliott and four brothers, Tommy, Burlin, Gene and Jim Wathen.
She is survived by her son, Layton Earl Wheeler of Hodgenville; a brother, Paul (Glenda) Wathen of Hodgenville; a special niece, Tracy Wathen and numerous other nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held at 10 AM, Wednesday, October 6, 2021, at Mt. Moriah Baptist Church Cemetery with Bro. Sid Lewis officiating.
