Dorothy Ward

Dorothy Ward, age 88, of Hodgenville, went home to be with Jesus, Saturday, November 12, 2022, at Baptist Health Hardin in Elizabethtown.

She was preceded in death by husband, Leon Ward; her parents, Henry and Carrie Warren; a sister, Lillian Milby; and three brothers, James ‘Jimmer”, Odell and Rudolph Warren.

Dorothy is survived by three sons, Robert “Johnny” (Geraldine) Thompson and Donnie (Faye) Thompson all of Mt. Sherman, Dewey (Pam) Thompson of Campbellsville; six grandchildren, Laura Lewis, Robbie Thompson, Chris Thompson, Bryan Thompson, Ashley Hancock and Justin Thompson and 18 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, November 16, at Bennett-Bertram Funeral Home in Hodgenville with Bro. Dale Warren officiating. Burial will follow in Pleasant Ridge Cemetery.

Visitation will be held 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday and after 9 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
