Doris Jean Pepper, age 88, of Magnolia, passed away, Tuesday, March 5, 2024, at Baptist Health Hardin in Elizabethtown.
She was a member of Magnolia Baptist Church and retired from USF&C after 28 years of service.
Doris was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Richard Pepper; her parents, Arthur and Katherine Marie Wilkerson Crain; a sister, Martha Puckett and a brother, Oscar Crain.
She is survived by a son Jim (Vivian) Pepper of Magnolia; three grandchildren, Amanda (Chris) Weeks of Mississippi, James Collin (Holly) Pepper of Magnolia and Katie Lynn Pepper of Elizabethtown and four great-grandchildren, Addison , Noah and McKinzie Weeks, Logan Pepper and Miles Pepper.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, March 9, at Dixon-Rogers Funeral Home in Magnolia with Rev. Gary Talley officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Salem Separate Baptist Church Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday and after 10 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
