Dewey Wade Stillwell, age 78, of Hodgenville, passed away June 21, 2021, at Norton’s Hospital in Louisville.
Dewey loved UK basketball, a good shade tree to park under, ice cold water, bread with every meal, pie of any variety and driving – he was always ready to go! He was very gifted in many ways but exceptionally talented at singing karaoke – Hello Darlin’. Dewey was a true gentleman who opened his lady’s car door, you’d be proud to call him papaw and he was looking forward to the day he heard the Lord say “enter ye good and faithful servant”.

Stillwell, Monroe Stillwell, Marshall Chandler Stillwell and J.T. Stillwell and one granddaughter, Amanda Miller.
Dewey is survived by his wife, Janice Diane Haycraft; one sister, Carol Ann Andrews; two brothers, Roger Stillwell and Harlan Stillwell; daughters, Tina Skaggs, Missy Cottrill, Kim Amos Reuter, Cheryl Vowels and Faith Ann Miller; grandson Josh, whom Dewey considered his son; grandchildren, Joshua Reuter, Jacob Shipp, Jonathan Dixon, Kristopher Sutherland, Brittany Reuter, Miranda Lawless, Alex Vowels, Jordan Bryant, Lucas Miller and Madison Cottrill and loved by many great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
