Dennis E. Isbell, Sr., age 82, of Magnolia, passed away Wednesday, March 5, 2025, at his residence.
He retired from Ft. Knox as a tool and die maker, loved his grandkids and was a proud US Marine Corp veteran.
Dennis was preceded in death by his wife, Charlotte Isbell and his parents, J.C. and Helen Young Isbell.
He is survived by three children, Stephanie (Tommy) Bland of Magnolia, Dennis (Kim) Isbell, Jr., of Crestwood and Candice Isbell Corbin of Elizabethtown; five grandchildren, Austin (Tiffany) Bland of Magnolia, Brittney Corbin of Elizabethtown, Brianna (Bryan) Saltsman of Magnolia, Jonah Isbell of Crestwood and Autumn (Tripp Chapman) Corbin of Lexington; six great-grandchildren, Presley Bland of White Mills and John Sylvester, Ava Grace Sylvester, Rylen Saltsman, Jaxson Bland and Michael Bland, all of Magnolia and two sisters, Sandra Short and Rita Shane, both of Louisville.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. (ET), Saturday, March 8, at Bennett-Bertram Funeral Home in Hodgenville with Bro. Shannon McCubbins officiating. Burial will follow at 3:30p.m. (ET) in the Mahurin Cemetery in Grayson County.
Visitation begins after 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
Dennis’ pallbearers will be Austin Bland, Jonah Isbell, Bryan Saltsman, Tripp Chapman, John Sylvester and Jerry Kepple.
