Dean Wolford, age 56, of Buffalo, passed away, Sunday, September 12, 2021, at Baptist Health Hardin in Elizabethtown.
He was a member of Victory Baptist Church, where his and Sue’s life began 35 years ago. Dean was a mechanic for 35 years at Ewing Automotive, Hodgenville Automotive and Wolford Automotive and for the past 2 years drove a school bus for LaRue County Schools.
Dean was preceded in death by his dad, Ronald Edward Wolford in 1989 and a daughter-in-law, Chasity Renee Wolford in 2019.
He is survived by his wife, Rebecca Sue Wolford; four sons, Joshua Wolford, Eric Wolford, Jedidiah (Dakota) Wolford and Ezekiel Wolford; his mother, Gladys Arnett Wolford; seven grandchildren, Haedyn, Ayzahli, Cashus, Ivyanna, Cahleci, Kohl and Amos; a sister, Michelle (Mike) Becker; a brother, Darren (Chris) Wolford and his best friends, Vince Carpenter, Louie Payne and Joey Summitt.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, September 18, at Victory Baptist Church in Hodgenville with Bro. Darren Wolford and Bro. Claudie Long officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Visitation begins at 10 a.m. Saturday at the church.
