Curtis Wayne Cooper, age 65, of Elizabethtown, passed away Monday, October 30, 2023, at his residence.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Pamela Sue Hill Cooper; his parents, Jay and Mable Harper Cooper and six siblings, Robert “Bobby” Goodman, Rosie Nall, Clifford Goodman, Ida VanHeck, Charles Cooper and Linda White.
Curtis is survived by his daughter, Ashley (Kyle) Parker of Elizabethtown; a brother, Gary (Priscilla) Cooper of Elizabethtown; his ex-wife and close friend, Dora Darlene Stallins-Cooper and several nieces and nephews, including Montana Horn, whom he helped raise.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, November 3, at Bennett-Bertram Funeral Home in Hodgenville with his friends and family officiating. Burial will follow in Sonora Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday and after 9:30 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.
