Craig Eugene Whittington

Craig Eugene Whittington, age 71, of Louisville, passed away, Sunday, July 16, 2023, at University of Louisville Hospital.

He worked in security for the U.S. Embassy in Baku Azerbaijan and loved to travel, having been to over 60 countries and all 50 states.  Everyone thought he was a good man.

Craig was preceded in death by his son, Gregory Whittington and his father Richard Whittington

He is survived by his wife, Macie Whittington; a daughter, Tracy (Stony) Tieaskie and three sons, Mark (Chestena) Whittington, Thomas (Jordann) Whittington and Curtis Whittington, all of Oklahoma; his mother, Celene Fresques Whittington; two step-sons, Eric (Autumn) Baines of California and Steven (Erin) Baines of Colorado; two sisters, Debbie Hall and Lisa Whittington, both of Colorado; three brothers, Bruce (Kathy) Whittington of Magnolia, Mike (Susan) Whittington and Alan Whittington all of Colorado and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Cremation was chosen and no services have been scheduled at this time.
