Clyde Eugene Sallee, age 64, of Elizabethtown, passed away Saturday, October 7, 2023, at his residence.
He was a former employee of Crucible and loved riding motorcycles, restoring motorcycles and cars, fishing, hunting, guns and playing music.
Eugene was preceded in death by his parents, Walter Sallee and Lyda Loyall Sallee and an infant brother, Ray Sallee.
He is survived by a son, Chris (Katie) Sallee of Rineyville; a daughter, Emma (Zachary Kopp) Sallee of Missouri; a brother, Bill (Carla) Sallee of Elizabethtown; a sister, Lyda (David) Scott of Hodgenville; five grandchildren, Ellie Sallee, Rowan Stillwell, Madilyn Stillwell, Banjamin Carter and Rowan Kopp and a close friend who was like a brother, Dennis (Sonya) Thompson.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, October 12, at Bennett-Bertram Funeral Home in Hodgenville with Bro. Tim Dennis officiating. Burial will follow in Pleasant Ridge Church Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday and after 9 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
