Claude L. Powell, age 86, of Buffalo, passed away Thursday, May 2, 2024, at Baptist Health Hardin in Elizabethtown.
He was the retired owner and operator of Powell’s Septic Tank Service, was a member and former board member of Hodgenville Pentecostal Church, member of the NRA and Hodgenville Gideon Camp.
Claude was preceded in death by his first wife, Joann Powell; his parents, Silas and Laura Toby Powell and a sister, Dorothy Butler.
He is survived by his wife, Donna Powell; a step-son, Chad White of Hodgenville; a step-daughter, Terri (Emberton) Buck of Michigan; a sister, Dianne Curry of Buffalo; six step-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, May 5, at Hodgenville Pentecostal Church with Rev. David Webb officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Visitation will be from 3 to 7 p.m. Saturday and after 12 noon Sunday at Bennett-Bertram Funeral Home in Hodgenville.
