Charlotte Mae Kizer

Charlotte Mae “Char” Kizer, age 75, of Erin, Tennessee, passed away, Saturday, February 26, 2022, in Nashville, Tennessee.

Char retired from Meals on Wheels where she managed food delivery for the elderly in her community, she loved antiques, animals, and gardening in her spare time

She was the daughter of the late Charles and Alma Thomas. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Bridgette Fowler and brothers Norman, Lonnie and Charles Thomas.

Char is survived by her loving husband, Gilbert Kizer; three daughters, LaDonna (Eric) Collins of Acworth, Georgia, Toni (Mason) Smoot of Lake Forest, Illinois and Brooke (Justin) Shaw of Howell, New Jersey. She is also lovingly remembered by her three sisters, Connie Tipton, Trudy Bibb and Arleene Embree; 10 grandchildren, and a host of great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, March 12, 2022, at Hodgenville First Baptist Church.
