Catherine Jeffries Bingham, age 87, of Hodgenville, a native of Green County, passed away, Sunday, November 19, 2023, at Tender Touch Assisted Living in Elizabethtown.
She was a member of Middle Creek Baptist Church and was a housewife who loved cooking and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Catherine was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Bingham; her parents, Lemon and Dixie Pierce Jeffries, a brother, Billy Jeffries; two sister-in-laws, Linda Jeffries and Mayola Jeffries; a brother-in-law, Howard Henderson.
She is survived by two sons, Junior (Charlotte) Bingham and Jimmie (Pam) Bingham all of Hodgenville; a sister, Dean Henderson of Arizona; three brothers, Bobbie Jeffries, James (Phyllis) Jeffries and Joe Jeffries all of Hodgenville; six grandchildren, Jason (Jessica) Bingham, Mandy (Michael) Cissell, Brittany (Lee) Vickery, Hannah (Nick) Berry, Lincoln (Briana) Bingham, Dawson (Chloe Sloan) Bingham; eight great-grandchildren, Haleigh (Thomas) Harman, Olivia Bingham, Jax Vickery, Greta Berry, Heidi Bingham, Hazel Vickery, Bristol Cissell, Paityn Bingham and a great-great-grandson, Hank Harman.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, November 22, at Bennett-Bertram Funeral Home in Hodgenville with Bro.Todd Milford officiating. Burial will follow in the Middle Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.
Visitation will be 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday and continue after 9 a.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Jason Bingham, Lincoln Bingham, Dawson Bingham, Nick Berry, Lee Vickery and Michael Cissell.
