Carolyn Metcalf

Carolyn Metcalf, age 69, of Hodgenville, passed away, Sunday, June 28, 2026, at her residence with her family by her side.

She was a member Salem Christian Church and former food service manager at Gates Rubber Company.

Cayolyn was preceded in death by her parents, Burnice and Neva Brown Wilkerson; a sister, Janet Skaggs; two brothers, Michael and Johnny Wilkerson.

She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Barry Metcalf; two sons, Michael Metcalf and Doug (Tabatha) Metcalf all of Hodgenville; a sister, Lori (Willie) Wells of Hardyville; two brothers, Bobby (Brenda) Wilkerson of Upton and Charlie Wilkerson of Florida; four grandchildren, Rebecca Metcalf, Kimberly Perrin, Taylor Richardson and Xander Metcalf; three great-grandchildren, Keaton, Lucy and Henry.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, July 2, at Bennett-Bertram Funeral Home, Bro. Sid Lewis officiating. Burial will follow in Salem Christian Church Cemetery.

Visitation will be 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday and after 9 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
