Brigitte Guffey

Brigitte Guffey, age 71, of Magnolia, passed away, Friday, June 2, 2023, at her residence.

She was a member of St. James Catholic Church in Elizabethtown, where she was very active in the Ladies Bible study group and worked in many other capacities at the church. For the past 13 years she has been a constant caregiver to her husband John.

Brigitte was preceded in death by her parents Mathias and Ann Blau Ziegler.

In addition to her husband survivors include an aunt, Elizabeth Bernhardt; four cousins, Erwin Bernhardt, Helen Bernhardt, Anne Gavanes and Rose Cirvolio.

A memorial service will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday, June 7, at Bennett-Bertram Funeral Home in Hodgenville with Deacon Karl Drerup officiating.

Visitation will begin after 1 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
