Brenda Sue Smith

Brenda Sue Smith, age 76, of Hodgenville, passed away Monday, May 18, 2026, at her residence.

She work as an LPN for many years and then a bookkeeper for Bob Smith and Son Construction.

Brenda was preceded in death by a son, Brad Smith and  her parents, James and Virginia Dempsey Clark.

She is survived by her husband, Bob Smith; a daughter, Beth (Brooks) Cottrill of Hodgenville; three grandchildren, Brennan Cottrill, Amber Smith, and Scotty Smith; a sister, Becky (Perry) Rodocker of Arizona; and a brother, Ray Clark of Utah.

Brenda will be cremated and no services are scheduled at this time. 

Bennett-Bertram Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
