Brenda (Moor) Johnson

 Brenda Moor Johnson, age, 86, of Elizabethtown, passed away, Friday, November 14, 2025, at Tender Touch Heart and Home in Elizabethtown.

She was a member of Upton Baptist Church where she was the pianist for many years, retired elementary educator and student teacher supervisor through Western Kentucky University, was an avid golfer and loved to travel.

Brenda was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Edward Johnson and her parents, Dellard and Mable Ward Moor.

She is survived by a son, Jed (Robbin) Johnson of Farmington; two granddaughters, Emily (Nolan) Taylor of Leitchfield and Julia (Johnny) Hensley of Metropolis; three great-grandchildren, Bentley Payne, Luke Taylor and Thomas Taylor; a sister-in-law, Laura Morris of Elizabethtown and a nephew, Steve (Leah) Morris of Arizona.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, November 19, at Dixon-Rogers Funeral Home in Magnolia with Bro. John Smith officiating. Burial will follow in Upton Cemetery.

Visitation will be 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday and continue after 9 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
