Bonita "Bonnie" Skelley

Bonita “Bonnie” Skelley, age 89, of Magnolia, passed away, Sunday, February 21, 2021, at her residence.

She was a homemaker and a member of South Fork Baptist Church.

Bonnie was preceded in death by her husband, J.W. Skelley; her parents, Joe and Lilly Druen Jewell; a sister Elizabeth Skelley and a brother Hanford Jewell.

She is survived by two daughters, Diane (Steve) Thomas of Hodgenville and Shelia (Dennis) Wells of Buffalo; a sister, Christine Bowen of Smithfield; a brother Ray (Doris) Jewell of Linwood; six grandchildren, Chris Callaway, Amber Walls, Aaron Chism, Megan Wells, Elle Dyer and Micah Dyer and 13 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held 11 am, Wednesday February 24, at Dixon-Rogers Funeral Home in Magnolia with Rev. Jonathan Carl officiating. Burial will follow in the South Fork Cemetery.

Visitation will be 5 to 8 pm Tuesday and after 9 am on Wednesday.
