Bobbie Ray Gaddie, age 86, of Buffalo, passed away Thursday, July 18, 2024, at Baptist Health Hardin in Elizabethtown.
He was saved at South Fork Baptist Church and was a deacon at Steadfast Baptist Church, served for years on the board of directors for Farm Bureau and was a member of the American Dairy Association. He also loved farming, fixing things, enjoyed woodworking and had a passion for inventing and improving farm implements. Most of all he loved his family.
Bobbie was preceded in death by a son, Jeff Gaddie; his parents, Ray and Ruth Redman Gaddie; two brothers, James Gordon Gaddie and Ralph Redman Gaddie and a daughter-in-law, Joy Gaddie.
He is survived by his wife Frances Morris Gaddie; two sons, Jerry (Brenda) Gaddie and Jody (Donnita) Gaddie all of Buffalo; eight grandchildren, Melissa, Maggie, Cari, Justin Chris, Jenny, Tara and Phyllis ; twelve great-grandchildren, Heath, Emma, Jaxon, Reed, Colton, Anna Kay, Grace, Matt, Caleb, Cameron, Hunter and Trinity.
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Monday, July 22, at Bennett-Bertram Funeral Home in Hodgenville with Bro. Rodney Troutman and Bro. Tim Dudley officiating. Burial will follow in South Fork Baptist Church Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday and after 12 noon Monday at the funeral home.
