Blake Everette Barnes, age 22, of Elizabethtown, passed away, Tuesday, April 23, 2024.
He was a loving husband, father, son, grandson, brother, nephew and cousin.
Blake was a proud member of Rolling Fork Fire Department. He was employed by the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet. He was of Baptist faith and attended Freedom’s Way Church.
He is preceded in death by his papaw and mamaw Morgan, his papaw, Sonny Knox, and his uncle, Chad Knox.
He is survived by his wife, Addison Barnes; unborn son, Axel Blake Everett Barnes; a daughter, Linda Gail Alexandria Barnes; a son, Levi Everett Barnes; his mother, Mary (Chris) Lambright, and grandparents, Wilma and Tommy Allen, Terry And Kathy Barnes; his father, Jared Barnes; a sister, Meadow Barnes, and a brother, Kyle Barnes, as well as a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Friday, April 26, at Bennett-Bertram Funeral Home in Hodgenville, Bro. Billy Curle officiating. Burial will follow in Middle Creek Church Cemetery.
The visitation will be 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday and after 9 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations to the funeral home to help with funeral expenses.
Blake’s pallbearers will be:
Grant Bloomfield, Taylor Skaggs, Ethan Knox, James Brown, Travis Kennedy and Jamie Gray.
