Betty Ann Miller Peace, 92, of Hodgenville, passed away peacefully at home on December 25, 2022.
One of thirteen children, Betty was born in Magnolia to the late Charles Leslie and Alta Miller on January 31, 1930.
Most of Betty's life was spent as homemaker, mother, grandmother and caregiver. She adored her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and loved working in the yard and weekly sightseeing trips to Magnolia. Known as Aunt BA by many family members she kept up with her siblings and extended family as long as her health allowed.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by four brothers, Harold Burton Miller, Charles Robert Miller, Donald G. Miller and Dr. Ronald Miller; seven sisters, Ruby Lillian Cooke, Edna Bernice Turner, Dorothy "Day" Tharp, Cleo Spratt, Helen "Tootsie" Catlett, Mary Evelyn "Dolly" Jackson and Sue Carol Meredith; as well as her companion Roy Meredith.
Betty Ann is survived by a son, David Randell (Gail) Peace, Jr. of Naperville IL; a daughter, Rebecca Ann Peace (Mike) Thomas of Columbia, TN; six grandchildren, Sarah Gail Peace (Jeff) Livingston, Jennie Leigh Peace (Jeff) Manderscheid, William Matthew (Megan) Peace, John David Peace, Michael David (Allie) Thomas and Melissa Thomas (Ben) Pyron; 11 great-grandchildren, Cora, Lucy and Sawyer Thomas; Luke Pyron, Andrew and Evan Livingston; Carter and Grant Manderscheid and Gunnison, Archy and Cadi Peace; a brother, Dr. James E. (Betty) Miller of Lexington and a special friend and caregiver Ruby Calloway.
Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Friday, December 30, at Dixon-Rogers Funeral Home in Magnolia. Burial will follow in Magnolia Cemetery.
Visitation will begin after 12 noon Friday at the funeral home.
