Archie "Gude" Gardner

Archie Gude Gardner, age 86, of Hodgenville, formerly of Magnolia, passed away, Monday, February 8, 2021, at Baptist Health Hardin in Elizabethtown.

He was a retired dairy farmer.

Gude was preceded in death by a son, Ronnie Gardner; his parents, Tom and Carrie Talley Gardner; two sisters, Bonetta Ard and Frances Ragland; two brothers, Wilburn ‘Shorty” Gardner and Elbert Lee Gardner.

He is survived by his wife, Kathryn King Gardner; a daughter, Theresa (Kenny) Gardner of Hodgenville; a son, Gary Gardner of Elizabethtown; a sister, Louise Devore of Louisville; 10 grandchildren, Jerimiah, Jessica, Ashley, Katie, Zach, Whitney, Jennifer, Laura Beth, Mariah and Robbie; several great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 11 am (ET) Wednesday, February 10, at Dixon-Rogers Funeral Home in Magnolia, Rev. Shannon McCubbins officiating. Burial will follow in the Hammondsville Cemetery.

Visitation will be 3 to 8 pm (ET) Tuesday at the funeral home.
